Voltaren containsdiclofenac sodium,which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the production of certain natural substances in the body that causes pain, swelling, and inflammation.
Voltaren can also be used to help reduce pain and swelling in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.
Voltaren works by blocking the production of prostaglandins, which are chemicals in the body that cause pain, swelling, inflammation, and stiffness.
It can be used to treat osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis in the body.
Voltaren is suitable for use by adults, children, and adolescents aged 16 years and older.
Voltaren should be used with caution in patients with a history of asthma, hypersensitivity, or allergy to aspirin, diclofenac, ibuprofen, or any other NSAID.
The use of Voltaren should only be prescribed if the benefit outweighs the risk.
Voltaren should not be used by pregnant, nursing, or people with heart, liver, kidney, or bowel disorders.
Voltaren is not usually associated with other NSAIDs. However, some NSAIDs can cause other effects in some individuals. Some of the more common side effects are:

Tell your doctor immediately or go to your nearest emergency room if you have a serious allergic reaction. Symptoms may include:

It is important to tell your doctor immediately if you:
• have an allergy to aspirin, diclofenac, ibuprofen, or any other NSAID (including Voltaren). Symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, such as skin reddening, swelling, or difficulty breathing, may occur while you are using this product
• are taking any other NSAID
• are taking any other medicines
• have heart failure, liver failure, kidney failure, or heart attack
• have blood clotting disorders
• are taking oral corticosteroids or other anti-inflammatory medicines
• are taking any other medicine for asthma
• have kidney or liver problems
• have severe kidney problems
• have severe liver problems
• have or have had liver failure
• have or have had asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or high blood sugar.
Voltaren should not be used if you:
• are allergic to aspirin, diclofenac, ibuprofen, or any other NSAID.
Voltaren Emulgel (2% w/w) is a topical anti-inflammatory gel with a dual action: Voltaren Emulgel can help you: fight inflammation and application are two other ways that Voltaren Emulgel has analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties.
